HIKING, BACKPACKING AND MULTI-DAY TREKKING

 Let’s get ready to ramble. Headquartered one mile from the entrance to the interior of Big Bend Ranch State Park, and a scenic 50 miles from Big Bend National Park, West Texas’ vast backcountry trail systems are in our backyard. Call us to discuss our many hiking and backpacking options.

DAY HIKES

We offer several inspiring day hikes and tours that can be customized for your private group. Whether it’s classic hikes in the Chisos Mountains, short hikes along River Road, a trek to the top of Texas, or a well kept secret off the beaten path, we can make it happen. 

2 persons $300 each

3 persons $200 each

4 or more $175 each 

MULTI-DAY BACKPACKING TRIPS 

Want to get far out? For a truly immersive Big Bend experience, we offer several backpacking trips ranging from beginner to advanced. We can provide the gear, food and snacks, a detailed packing list, and all the know-how and support for your group’s adventure. We even offer guided “thru hikes” such as the Big Bend 100, a 100-mile route through the state park into the national park. 

$200/person/day. Minimum 2 persons. Groups over 6 are $180 per person per day.

MULTI-DAY VEHICLE/BOAT ASSISTED TRIPS 

We also offer hiking trips where all you have to carry is a day pack. Similar to a full-service river trip, we’ll have your camp set up and a delicious dinner prepared after a day of hiking. We’ll follow that with a hearty breakfast the next morning.

$200/person/day. Minimum 2 persons. Vehicle or boat assisted camps are an additional $600 per 2-6 hikers and an additional $100 per hiker beyond 6.

Booking and payments:

A deposit of 25% is required to book a trip, with full payment due one week out. Cancellations within 7 days of your trip are ineligible for refund unless the trip cancels due to weather.
