We gladly rent boats and equipment for private river trips and would also be happy to work with you to plan your adventure. We own a limited number of canoes and gear so reserve in advance as our guided trips always take priority. Further, the Rio Grande in the Big Bend is a dynamic stream, with fluctuating water levels, therefore, we may not be able to accommodate if we deem the conditions un favorable to rent boats to unguided guests. There is a deposit of 50% needed to reserve gear. You will be charged for any boats/ gear excessively damaged or lost.
Canoe rentals are $75 per boat per day. This includes paddles, PFDs and tie-downs. (cam-straps) Additional equipment can be rented such as fire-pans, kitchen gear, coolers, camp gear and camp toilets. Our livery is located just outside Presidio TX, a few miles from Fort Leaton, where state park river permits can be obtained. We can deliver and or pick up rented boats for a negotiated price. (depending on where)
The Big Bend is a grand place.. We know the logistics of river tripping out here can be a headache and the distances by road from some put- ins to take-outs can be several hours drive one way on sometimes rough roads.
The prices listed below reflect moving your vehicle/s and are per vehicle moved. They do not include permits, access fees or gasoline.
State Park: $50-$100
